FREE TIME AT COLLEGE

SO! We're nearing the end of my final year at AIE and we're free to do what we like for the next 2.5 weeks (provided all our assignments are handed in... Which mine are :3 ). I want to learn more about how to rig and animate a character, soooooo guess what I'm doing 'till the end of the year! CHARACTER!!!

Yes, it's a big task, I know... But I've gotten my boyfriend involved (studying Game Design and Development) and he suggested I make a robot! Sounds kinda "eh", but considering I wanted to do a character in the art style of League of Legends, I think the robot will do well, for what I'd like to learn before I leave into the real world.

Here is day 1 of my little robot friend ^_^

Starting with reference images (put together with the help of Cameron Shakespear)

I like the feet off the top left image and, to save time, Cameron suggested I give the robot a monitor for a face. I love the bottom right and am soo tempted to copy it. I'm going to try and make a mix of the two right images.... I'm drawing up some concepts now.
