Power of light has been confirmed to be a light vs dark game.

Basically, the earth has had the light sucked away and you play as a fallen angel (still deciding on names and gender) to restore light to a dark, broken world.

This hack'n'slash is designed to be a part of a larger, story-based game and this is one "mini-game" element. You are required to defeat shadow monsters, in waves, until the final boss appears (possibly about 3 waves before the boss). You use light to defeat the monsters, and the more light you gather/release (to be confirmed), the more power you gain which makes you stronger and helps you to defeat the final boss.

We've been discussing art styles and colour themes and have decided on a hand-painted, light vs dark, firewatch-y kind of style. The image I've attached is just a mood/art reference board. If you think of mixing it all together, you kind of get an idea on our artistic vision.
